As per our last meetings in 2007 and a brief review conducted in January, we have made some major changes. All the info is reflected on the “Gatherings” tab above, but the news in brief…

  • “All in” gatherings on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month are now (a) from 9:00am till 11:30am instead of in the evening.
  • And (b), the “all in” Gatherings are now all open which means that anyone is welcome, not just the initiated. Only the boys/girls groups are closed as our quarterly planning/prayer days. (More on them later).

Hope it all makes sense. Any problems, drop us a line!

Reprint of Lisa’s email fyi…

Hi guys,
On our last Mdei gathering on Sunday we talked about Tear’s State Gathering on 5-7 October. There are options to stay over or just come up for the day, the Said’s are going and staying over – hope to see you there!! The keynote speaker, Dave Andrews is a gun and will be well worth listening to. Here is the info:

Who is my neighbour? Every two years TEAR holds a “Gathering”, a weekend of learning and sharing about justice and faith. I can guarantee you will come away challenged, very encouraged and more sure about your part(s) to play in your local area and networks. This year’s Gathering is themed “Who is my neighbour?” Dates are 5-7 October. Click here for a brochure. The weekend allows for folk to stay the whole time, part of the time and/or to attend half day sessions. If you feel you know nothing or know a lot about justice and faith, you WILL get something out of this weekend. The conversations and sessions over the weekend will stimulate lots of questions and there will be lots of opportunities for reflection, asking questions, and learning through simulation games. Kids are well catered for. It is located at Blampied, near Daylesford. Prices are in the brochure.
