Our Dream
A dream? Don’t you mean a mission statement? Dreams tend to live, and when dreams are dreamed collectively, their capacity to transform multiplies. This is the dream of missio Dei:
Learning and living God’s transforming dream.
Our dream is that we would learn about God’s dream, a dream of a new heaven and a new earth, a place where the things that make us cry and cause us pain no longer exist.
Our dream is that each person who is part of missio Dei discerns God’s dream both in the big picture sense, but also in a day to day sense. What would it look like if God’s Kingdom were to come in my family, in my street, in my neighbourhood, in my working life, in every part of my world?
Our dream is that once people begin to dream this dream, that as a community, we would support each other in finding our place in God’s transforming dream.
Our dream is that we would all be shaped by the missio Dei!
